BlackBerry will launch their first BlackBerry 10 smartphone in the US later today, the BlackBerry Z10, and it will be interesting to see if the Z10 is met with the same reception that it has had in the UK and other countries.
Sales of the BlackBerry Z10 have been good in the UK and other markets, with BlackBerry saying that sales of the handset has exceeded their expectations, whether sales will be similar in the US remains to be seen.
The BlackBerry Z10 features a dual core 1.5GHz processor and 2GB of RAM, there is also 16GB of built in storage, plus a microSD card slot that can take up to 32GB cards.
The BlackBerry Z10 comes with dual cameras, up front we have a 2 megapixel camera with 3x digital zoom and the ability to record HD video in 720p, on the back of the device is an 8 megapixel camera with auto-focus, 5x digital zoom and full HD video recording in 1080p.
Other specifications on the BlackBerry Z10 include Bluetooth 4.0, 802.11 a/b/g/n Wifi, A-GPS, and the handset measures 130mm x 65.6mm by 9mm, the handset will be available with a number of mobile carriers in the US.
