If you are interested in Bitcoin transactions and would enjoy a visual way to see real-time transactions occurring around the world, you may be interested in a new website which has been set up called Bit Bonkers.
Bit Bonkers offers an interesting visual representation of Bitcoin transactions around the world in real time and shows live bitcoin transactions from the blockchain, with Blue balls representing BTC transactions from 100 to 1000, while yellow represent 50 to 100 and Orange 10 to 50.
The developer of the Bit Bonkers Bitcoin visualisation website explains more about its inspiration and unique design.
A visualisation of live bitcoin transactions from the blockchain.Every time a bitcoin transaction is made it is shown here as coloured ball dropping on the plate, the the cubes represent the latest block from the blockchain which are mined on average every 10 minutes, the size of the block is determined by how many kilobytes it is.
You can select a transaction to find out exactly how much it is worth in btc. why do they keep falling off the plate? that is so that your computer doesn’t overheat but if things are getting too much just press the space bar!
This is made using using the awesome three.js and oimo.js javascript libraries, and live streaming bitcoin transaction data from blockchain.info. this demo uses quite experimental browser techniques and works best in the google chrome browser for the full effect with sound. I made this for a bit of fun, if you like it please pass it on. donations will encourage me to make more fun bitcoin related stuff!
to view it for yourself jump over to Bit Bonkers here.
