Over the weekend, EA has released more details about the start of the upcoming Battlefield 1 Premium Trials, which allow players that don’t own a Battlefield 1 Premium Pass to play on maps they normally wouldn’t have access to.
For those of you that do not own a Battlefield 1 Premium Pass, you can use Premium Trials to play Prise de Tahure along with Nivelle Nights and the four other maps from the They Shall Not Pass expansion. This is a fantastic opportunity for players to experience more of what Battlefield 1 has to offer without the immediate need to purchase the Premium Pass.
What Are Battlefield 1 Premium Trials?
The Battlefield 1 Premium Trials take the form of events, with one taking place this month and another before Gamescom in August. Additionally, there will be another event in September, enabling all players to enjoy the new expansion map packs for a limited time. These trials are designed to give players a taste of the premium content, potentially encouraging them to purchase the Premium Pass if they enjoy the new maps and gameplay experiences.
During these trial periods, players can access all the maps from the expansions without any restrictions. This includes not only the maps but also the new weapons, vehicles, and game modes introduced in the expansions. It’s a comprehensive way to experience the full breadth of content that Battlefield 1 has to offer.
Why Participate in Battlefield 1 Premium Trials?
Participating in the Battlefield 1 Premium Trials offers several benefits. Firstly, it allows players to experience new and diverse environments, which can significantly enhance the gameplay experience. For example, Prise de Tahure is set in a war-torn French city, offering intense urban combat scenarios, while Nivelle Nights provides a unique nighttime battlefield experience, adding a new layer of strategy and immersion.
Moreover, these trials are an excellent way for players to test out new weapons and vehicles that are exclusive to the expansions. This can be particularly beneficial for players who are considering purchasing the Premium Pass but want to ensure that the additional content is worth the investment.
Another advantage is the opportunity to play with friends who already own the Premium Pass. Often, players are divided by the content they own, but Premium Trials help bridge this gap, allowing everyone to play together on the same maps.
