Audio-Technica this month has added a new Special Edition headphone to its range, in the form of the Audio-Technica ATH-M50xBB, the new headphones will be available to purchase In a few months time, during March 2018 priced at $169. The ATH-M50xBB headphones join the currently available ATH-M50x models and are equipped with proprietary 45 mm large-aperture drivers, fitted with with rare earth magnets and copper-clad aluminium wire voice coils.
The design has been created to provide “exceptional clarity throughout an extended frequency range, with deep, accurate bass response”, says Audio-Technica. The circumaural design of the ATH-M50xBB has been created to contour around the wearer’s ears, providing sound isolation even in the loudest environments. As you can see from the picture above the 90-degree swivelling earcups provide one-ear monitoring and allow the headphones to be easily transported in your bag without damage.
The ATH-M50xBB Professional Monitor headphones are a available in a limited-edition blue and black finish of A-T’s popular ATH-M50x Professional Monitor headphone. Other features include detachable cables taking the form of a 1.2m-3m coiled cable, 3m straight cable and 1.2m straight cable to suit almost any application.
