ASUS has launched its new Strix Wireless 7.1 gaming headset this week expanding their ever-growing range of ROG or Republic of Gamers peripherals. The headset is now available in Singapore but is expected to roll out worldwide in the coming weeks.
The Strix Wireless 7.1 gaming headset is priced at S$199 and offers a true 7.1 surround sound and is equipped with 10 discrete neodymium-magnet drivers as well as foldable ear cups for easy storage and transportability.
ASUS have also equipped the gaming headset with low-latency 2.4GHz wireless technology for immersive 7.1-channel virtual surround sound, as well as with a rechargeable 900mAh battery that is capable of providing over 10 hours of gameplay from a single charge.
Together with the headset ASUS also provide a Strix 7.1 USB plug-and-play audio station, which integrates effective environmental noise cancellation (ENC) technology and also functions as a USB sound card.
