The Asus Eee Dual Screen e-Book Reader which was showcased as a concept at CeBIT last March may be available later this year according to the Times Online. According to Jerry Shen the president of Asus the Asus Eee Dual Screen e-Book reader will be the world’s cheapest e-book reader although there will also be a premium model with high-end features, along the lines of integrated 3G capability.
The Asus dual screen e-book reader will allow users to read their books in the way that they were intended or to split the screens maybe one for their e-book and one to surf the web with a browser.
Rumours are that Asus are aiming for a price point of $163 around £100 for the low-end model.. We’ll keep you posted and hopefully they’ll be here for Christmas.
