Smartphone photographers may be interested in a new 12 mm ultra wide aspherical lens created by ShiftCam has launched via Kickstarter this week. Thanks to over 850 backers the campaigners already raised over $100,000 with still 28 days remaining on its campaign. The new smartphone lens has been designed to provide an ultrawide angle with zero distortion and has been specifically designed for use with mobile phones combining both portability and DSLR style photography.
