Apple recently released their iOS 12.1.2 software which comes with some bug fixes for the eSIMs in the latest iPhones and now we have some speed test videos of iOS 12.1.2 vs iOS 12.1.1.
In the video below we get to see the iOS 12.1.2 vs iOS 12.1.1 run side by side on the iPhone 5S, iPhone 6, iPhone 6S, iPhone 7 and iPhone 8. First up is the iPhone 5S.
As we can see from the video the handset running the new iOS 12.1.2 booted up slightly faster, there do not appear to be any speed improvements in the apps, next up is the iPhone 6.
With the iPhone 6 handsets the device running the new iOS 12.1.2 booted up a split second faster, there are no speed improvements in the apps, next we have the iPhone 6S.
In the video featuring the two iPhone 6S handsets the one running the previous iOS 12.1.1 booted up a split second faster, there are no improvements in the apps, next we have the iPhone 7.
As we can see from the iPhone 7 videos the handset running the iOS 12.1.1 booted up a split second faster, the difference between the two was so small it looked like they booted at the same time, there are no speed improvements in the apps, finally we have the iPhone 8.
With the iPhone 8 video the handset running the previous iOS 12.1.1 booted up a split second faster, there are no speed improvements in the apps. From the videos we can see that there are no major speed improvements with the new iOS 12.1.2 software.
