We have been hearing rumors about the new Apple TV streaming service for some time and now according to a recent report, the service is getting closer to launch.
According to a new report from the New York Post, Apple’s negotiations with the TV networks have move on considerably.
Apple has asked the TV networks to negotiate with their affiliates on Apple’s behalf, to provide local TV in different regions of the US.
The service is apparently ready to go, all Apple need to do is come to agreements with the TV networks, which could mean it will launch later this year, possibly in September.
The iPhone 6S and 6S Plus are expected to launch in September and if Apple manages to reach agreement with the networks by the time that event takes place, the new Apple TV streaming service could be announced at the same time.
