The JailbreakMe jailbreak which jailbreaks the iPhone, iPad and the iPod Touch was only released the other day, and it has already jailbroken over 1 million iOS devices, and now it looks like Apple will be releasing a software update which will probably stop the JailbreakMe jailbreak from working.
The JailbreakMe jailbreak uses an exploit which takes advantage of a security hole in Apple’s mobile Safari, and the security hole could also be used by criminals to gain access to a users iOS device and get their personal details from the device.
It looks like Apple plans to close the security hole, as Apple has said that they are aware of the issue and are developing a fix that will be released via a software update.
If Apple fixes the security hole, then it will probably stop the JailbreakMe jailbreak from working on iOS devices like the iPad 2 and the iPhone 4.
