Notifications have also been revamped. They are now grouped together, so ones from the same app will appear in a group. This makes it easier to manage and view notifications without being overwhelmed. Additionally, you can manage your notifications directly from the lock screen, sending them to Notification Center or turning them off entirely for specific apps.
Another notable feature is the introduction of Memoji and new Animoji characters. Memoji allows users to create a personalized Animoji that looks just like them. These can be used in Messages and FaceTime, adding a fun and personal touch to your communications.
FaceTime has also received a significant update, now supporting group calls with up to 32 participants. This makes it easier to connect with multiple friends, family members, or colleagues at once. The feature includes dynamic layouts that automatically adjust to highlight the person speaking.
The Photos app has been enhanced with a new “For You” tab, which offers personalized photo and video suggestions, memories, and shared album activity. The search functionality has also been improved, making it easier to find specific photos based on events, people, places, and even objects.
The latest version of Apple’s iOS is now available to download as an over-the-air update. To ensure a smooth installation, make sure your device is connected to Wi-Fi and has sufficient battery life or is plugged into a power source.
