Nearly a month after the release of iOS 7.1 Beta, Apple released the second beta to developers for testing purposes, the update comes with a build number 11D5115d and is available for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad registered in the developer program. The update is available via over-the-air and can also be downloaded from the developers portal.
The list of compatible devices include iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5s, iPad 2, iPad (third and fourth generations), iPad Air, iPad mini and iPhone mini with Retina display.
The iOS 7.1 Beta 2 comes with a bunch of bug fixes and improvements, including a one that cause all ringtones to sound like the default tone, new list view toggle in the Calendar app, faster animations compared to beta 1, dark keyboard option removed from accessibility settings, faster animations, a new iPad wallpaper and more.
Additionally, the Touch ID and Passcode settings are more prominent and are moved from General Settings to the Main Settings Window.
