Apple has released a new software update for the iPhone and iPad, iOS 12.4.1, the update fixes a major security bug in iOS that was recently discovered.
The bug was re-introduced when Apple released iOS 12.4, it allowed for the OS to be jailbroken for the first time in a while.

Available for: iPhone 5s and later, iPad Air and later, and iPod touch 6th generation
Impact: A malicious application may be able to execute arbitrary code with system privileges
Description: A use after free issue was addressed with improved memory management.

There does not appear to be anything else included in this new software update for Apple’s iOS software. Apple also release watchOS 5.3.1 and macOS Mojave 10.14.6 supplemental update, all of these updates are now available to download.
