Apple has now released their iOS 11.2.5 software update, the update comes after the release of the seventh beta of the OS earlier this week.
The new iOS 11.2.5 software update is now available as an over the air update for the iPhone, iPad and the iPod Touch. The update brings a range of new features to Apple’s iOS devices.
The update comes with support for the new Apple HomePod which will go up for pre-order this Friday and launches on the 9th of February. It also comes with support for the new Siri news feature where Siri will play you a Podcast of the latest news from a range of news sources.
Siri will now also play you podcast about other topics, you can ask Siri about sport and it will play sports news podcast from a range podcasts like ESPN or NBC. You can also ask about business news and get podcasts from Bloomberg or CNBC and more.
The update also fixes a number of bugs and comes with a range of performance improvements. You can install the iOS 11.25 software update on your iPhone, iPad or iPad Touch by going to Settings > General > Software update > Download and Install.
