Whist we are waiting to find out when iOS 11.2 will be released, Apple has released a minor update for the iPhone and iPad in the form of iOS 11.1.1. The iOS 11.1.1 software update is a small update and it fixes a couple of minor bugs in the OS.
The iOS 11.1.1 update fixes a bug relating to auto-correct with the keyboard and also a bug relating to Siri where Siri stops working. The update is around 45MB in size on the iPhone and around 42MB on the iPad.
The update is now available to download to the iPhone and iPad and you can download it by going to Settings > General > Software update. If you notice any other changes to Apple’s mobile OS, leave a comment below and let us know.
We are expecting another software update from Apple some time this month, the iOS 11.2 update, which will bring a range of new features to Apple’s devices. This will include the new Apple Pay Cash mobile payments system which allows you to send money to your friends and family using Apple Pay. As soon as we get some information on exactly when the new iOS 11.2 software update is landing, we will let you guys know.
