Apple announced its new range of devices at a press conference last week, which included the new Apple Watch, and the iPhone 6 handsets, one thing the company didn’t announce is that they have killed off the iPod Classic.
You can no longer buy an iPod Classic from Apple’s website, the device has been removed, and Apple has not made any official announcement about the devices removal.
The first iPod was launched back in 2001, and it became a massively popular devices, the last iPod Classic was released back in 2007 with 120GB of storage, the device was still available to buy up until last week.
Sales of Apple’s iPod Classic devices have been falling, as well as sale of other iPod models, as people have been buying iPhone’s instead of the iPod.
Apple still offers three different iPod versions, the iPod Nano, the iPod Shuffle and also the iPod Touch, we wonder how long the latest models will last for.
