As well as unveiling their new AOPEN Chromebase Mini Chrome OS, AOPEN has also created an AOPEN Chromebox Mini which offers identical processing power but without the integrated 10.1 touchscreen display.
To re-cap the AOPEN Chromebox Mini is powered by a quad-core ARM Cortex-A17 processor supported by 4GB of RAM, and comes complete with 16GB of eMMC 5.0 storage.
Connectivity on the device comes in the form of both Bluetooth 4.0 and wireless 802.11ac all enclosed in a small form factor case that measures just 5.7 x 3.7 x 1 inches in size and is also called using a fanless system to reduce unwanted noise and provide silent operation. Enabling you to mount the mini PC on the rear of any display.
Unfortunately no information on pricing or worldwide availability has been released as yet by APON, but as soon as information comes to light we will keep you updated as always. More information check out the emotional video below which provides details on both the AOPEN Chromebase Mini and Chromebox Mini.
