Yesterday we heard that the Samsung Galaxy S7 with the model number SM-G930F had appeared in the Geekbench benchmarks, the device featured the Samsung Exynos 8990 processor.
Now another version of the handset with a different model number, SM-G930W8 has turned up on Geekbench, this device also comes with an Exynos 8990 processor.
As Samsung is expected to release a number of version of the handsets, it is possible that this one listed on Geekbench is the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge.
The handset is expected to come with a 5.1 inch Quad HD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, it will also come with 4GB of RAM and is expected to have storage options of 32GB and 64GB.
Other rumored specifications on the new Galaxy S7 include a 5 megapixel front facing camera and a 12 megapixel rear camera. The rear camera is said to use Samsung;s new BRITECELL image sensor which has been designed for improved photos and videos.
The device is also listed as running Android 6.0.1 Lollipop and we are expecting the new Galaxy S7 range to launch some time next month.
There are expected to be three models in the range, the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge which will feature a 5.1 inch display and the Galaxy S7 Edge+ which is rumored to come with a 5.7 inch display.
