If you are in the market for a new mini PC you might be pleased to learn that Gigabyte has this week made available there new range of Gigabyte Brix mini PCs equipped with AMD processors.
The new range of Gigabyte Brix small form factor computers are now available in the US with prices starting from just $260 and are available as either the entry-level Gigabyte Brix GB-BXA8-5545 or the Gigabyte Brix Gaming GB-BXA8G-8890 system.
Unfortunately due to its higher specifications the Gigabyte Brix Gaming GB-BXA8G-8890 is priced at more expensive $570 the features a powerful AMD A8-5557M processor supported by AMD Radeon R9 M275X dedicated graphics.
The entry-level Gigabyte Brix GB-BXA8-5545 measures just 4.5″ x 4.2″ x 1.2″ in size but has been created to provide HD video playback using a AMD A8-5545M Richland processor supported by Radeon HD 8510G graphics and 16GB of RAM for $260.
Other features of the Gigabyte Brix GB-BXA8-5545 include Gigabit ethernet, 802.11n WiFi and Bluetooth, four USB 3.0 ports, HDMI and mini DisplayPort and offers room for a mSATA solid state disk (SSD).
