As well as announcing their new wireless gaming headset priced at $229, the first for nearly 9 years. Alienware has launched a new version of its popular Elite Gaming Mouse offering a new design and tweaked enhancements. The new gaming mouse will be priced at $90 and has been re-shaped to provide users with advanced ergonomic engineering thanks to the inclusion of two redesigned interchangeable side wings.
As well as redesigning the gaming mouse, Dell has also removed a couple of thumb buttons from the side, reducing the number to four making it much easier for gamers to accurately connect with the correct button during gameplay. “The new Alienware Elite Gaming Mouse puts more control in gamers’ hand with two or four buttons for FPS/MMORPG and three-position palm rest for virtually any grip. With four configurable 5-gram weight adjustments, gamers have ultimate control over cursor precision and movement speed, enhanced by five configurable levels for on-the-fly DPI switching based on the need for speed or precision. Better efficiency also comes from nine to 11 programmable buttons with 512k onboard memory for in-game customisation. Further personalise the immersive experience with AlienFX lighting.”
