In the wake of the Pro revolt against Apple’s latest release of Final Cut Pro X, Adobe has seen an opportunity to grab some new users and has released a new offer tempting current Final Cut Pro users to swap to Adobe’s Premiere Pro suite of video editing tools.
Adobe’s Jim Guerard explains:
“We’re hearing from video professionals that they want pro level tools that address cutting edge work but also allow them to use legacy footage and workflows,”
“At Adobe we’ve been in the trenches with video pros for years and with Adobe Premiere Pro CS5.5 and CS5.5 Production Premium we’ve delivered professional-grade tools that are already being battle-tested by some of the most innovative filmmakers, broadcasters and video pros.”
If you are thinking of changing Adobe has compiled several resources for editors who are considering the switch, including a set of Premiere Provideo tutorials geared toward new users.
