Acer has today announced that its new Acer Predator 8 gaming tablet is now available to preorder and is available from a number of online retailers priced at $300.
The latest gaming tablet from Acer is equipped with an 8 inch display providing users with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels and is powered by an Intel Atom x7-Z8700 Cherry Trail processor supported by 2 GB of RAM.
Internally there is 32 GB of storage which can be expanded further up to 128 GB thanks to the included microSD card slot. Acer has also installed a 2 megapixel front facing camera for video calling, together with a 5 megapixel rear facing for video and photographs.
Other features include support for both Bluetooth 4 and 2×2 MIMO wireless connectivity via 802.11n, together with a 4550 mAh internal battery offering up to 8.5 hours of life whilst running Google’s Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system.Acer has also included a quad speakers setup together with Acer’s Predator TacSense technology providing tactile feedback as you play.
The Acer Predator 8 gaming tablet is available to purchase directly from the Acer online store as well as TigerDirect and Newegg to name a few others.
