Acer has this week revealed more details about its new Acer Chromebook 514 laptop which was first unveiled during the summer months of 2018. A new official page has been published by Acer for the new Chromebook 514 laptop which was discovered by Kevin Tofel and reveals specifications you can expect from the new laptop.
“The narrow bezel allows a 14” screen in a smaller footprint. Thanks to the 6mm narrow bezel and wide viewing angle of the Full HD IPS screen and you can enjoy the full majesty of films, videos and TV shows. An optional touch screen makes it easy to navigate and control videos on the 1920×1080 resolution display with 2,073,600 pixels display.”
One thing that still is up in the air is whether the system is equipped with an SD card reader, the new landing page includes one but the original announcement and press images refute this. Specifications of the Acer Chromebook 514 laptop listed on the new landing page include :
