LG recently launched their new LG G7 ThinQ and now according to a recent report the new 6.1inch LCD iPhone X could use technology from the handset.
Apple are rumored to be launching three new iPhones, two of them will have an OLED display and the cheapest of the three will be a 6.1inch iPhone X with an LCD display.
According to a recent report the new LCD iPhone X will use LG’s new MLCD+ technology, this is used in the new LG G7 ThinQ smartphones.
LG will apparently be supplying the displays for the new budget iPhone X, the handset will come with many of the same specifications as the more expensive OLED models. This will include a new Apple A12 processor and more RAM than the current devices.
We are expecting to see all of Apple’s new iPhone X handsets some time in September or October, the devices are expected to come with a similar design to the existing iPhone X. Apple is rumored to be selling the LCD model considerably cheaper than the other handsets and it could cost between $550 and $650. Apples current iPhone X starts at $999 the new OLED models ate expected to have a similar price.
