Yesterday we heard that the new Sony Xperia Tablet Z would launch in the UK in quarter 2, and now Sony has announced that their new Android tablet will launch globally in quarter 2.
Sony have yet to give a specific date in quarter 2 for the launch of the Xperia Tablet Z, so we guess it will be available some time from April onwards, they also announced that they have started rolling out the Xperia Z smartphone worldwide.
The Sony Xperia Tablet features a 10.1 inch display with a 1920 x 1200 pixels resolution, plus Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, the device is powered by a quad core Qualcomm APQ8064 processor clocked at 1.5GHz.
Other specifications on the Sony Xperia Tablet Z include 2GB of RAM and 32GB of built in storage, and there is also a rear facing 8.1 megapixel camera with Sony’s Exmor R sensor, it is designed to be waterproof and dust proof and it features NFC, LTE and a microSD card slot.
