Samsung Transparent OLED Display Notebook

Samsung has shown of a notebook prototype at CES which features a transparent OLED display, as you can see from the photo below it looks pretty impressive.

The display used in the prototype notebook is a 14 inch transparent OLED display, and when the screen is turned off, the display is up to 40% transparent.
Samsung have said that they intend to use the technology behind this transparent OLED display in other products like MP3 players and advertisement displays, and it could end up have a number of applications.

Very cool, I am sure it wont be long before we see this amazing technology integrated into every day devices.
