Yahoo released their new Yahoo Mail app back in October and now the company has added Gmail support to the app.
Yahoo mail now has multiple mailbox support for Gmail and Yahoo is releasing this feature globally on their mail app and also on the desktop browser.
When we launched the redesigned Yahoo Mail app in October, users called it “slick,” “speedy” and “elegant.” The app now has a four-star rating in both the Apple App Store and Google Play. We introduced multiple mailbox management for Outlook.com, Hotmail and AOL Mail. Yet, something was missing from the list – the ability to connect your Gmail and Google Apps account to Yahoo Mail. You asked for it and now it’s here!
All the features you need and love in Yahoo Mail – powerful search, smart contacts, rich compose features and Yahoo Account Key for password-free sign-in – are now available with Gmail. Here’s your path to a more convenient, powerful and personal email experience. You can now search across your entire history of emails, from day one, for all connected mailboxes! (Not just your most recent emails, which is how it’s done in many apps today).
