The new Xiaomi Mi Note smartphone is expected to be a popular device for the company, the handset will go on sale next week.
Now it would appear that the handset is off to a good start, as the company has received high pre-orders of the device ahead of its launch next Tuesday.
The Xiaomi Mi Note goes on sale in China on Tuesday the 27th of January, and prices of the handset start at 2,299 Yuan which is around $370 at the current exchange rate.
The handset comes with some impressive specifications, which include a 5.7 inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.
The device is powered by a quad core 2.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor and it comes with 3GB of RAM and an Adreno 330 GPU.
The Mi Note features a 4 megapixel front facing camera and a 13 megapixel rear camera, the device comes with a 3,000 mAh battery and a choice of either 16GB or 64GB of storage.
There is also a higher end version of the device, the Mi Note Pro, which features a QHD display, more RAM and an eight core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, this version of the device will be available later on.
