Roland’s Boss has created a new wireless pedalboard system for guitarists in the form of the low-latency Boss WL-60 Wireless System, offering up to 65 feet of cable free movement. The Boss WL-60 receiver Measures 70 x 120 x 54 mm in size and features a large LCD display for quick reference of settings and automatic channel scanning.
The Boss WL-60 and WL-60T will soon be available to purchase priced at $279.99 and $129.99 respectively throughout the United States. A WL-60T module is included with the WL-60 Wireless System, but can also be purchased separately.

“With the WL-60, the set up process is virtually effortless, eliminating the complicated procedures required with other systems. The comparative strength of all 14 channels is shown after scanning, providing a complete overview of the current wireless conditions. This makes it simple to choose the optimum channel for any stage situation, and also provides fast set up when multiple band members are using WL-60 systems.”

“The WL-60’s receiver is the same size as a BOSS compact pedal, making it ideally suited for pedalboards. In addition to simplifying set up, the large LCD provides visual feedback on channel selection, wireless strength, and more. Two cable tone simulation options are available, and a standard input jack is provided for connecting with a traditional guitar cable when needed. The receiver is powered via a PSA-series adaptor or AA batteries. With adaptor power, the receiver’s DC output can distribute power to one or more pedals.”
