Pocket Lint are reporting that the launch date for Windows Phone 7 will be the 11th of October 2010, and according to PL, Windows Phone 7 will be launched in New York.
It seems that Windows Phone 7 handsets will be available later in October from a number of manufacturers, although this is yet to be confirmed along with the official launch date.
