Sony will be hosting its much-anticipated press event on September 4 in Berlin. If you can’t make it to the event in Berlin, Sony will be live streaming the event online for the entire world. The event will kick off at 10.15 EDT / 15.15 BST / 16.15 CEST / 20.45 IST / 23.15 JST and you can watch it by visiting the link given at the end of the post.
In case you don’t know, Sony is expected to unveil its much-anticipated flagship smartphone – Sony Xperia Z1(Honami). The device is expected to bring top of the line specifications including Snapdragon 800 SoC clocked at 2.2GHz and 2GB RAM. The device is rumored to feature a 5-inch display sporting a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, 20 megapixel Sony Exmor RS camera along with a 2 megapixel front camera and Android Jelly bean on top of it, though we are unsure about the version. On the storage side, the device will have a 16GB internal storage with microSD card slot.
Sony also posted a number of teasers to create hype about the device and it seems as if the device will be waterproof and will feature Sony G Lens in the camera.
Rumors also suggest that Sony will unveil a miniature version of its flagship device featuring top of the line specifications. The device will feature similar specifications as Xperia Z1 but will boast a smaller screen and resolution of 720p. We have seen the device posing for the camera once as well.
