Sony are expected to announce the Sony Honami next month, the device is rumored to be called the Sony Xperia Z1. According to a recent report, Sony will follow Samsung and HTC and launch a mini version of the handset.
We presume the Sony Honami Mini will be called the Sony Xperia Z1 Mini, the device is rumored to come with a 4.3 inch display as opposed to a 5 inch display.
When HTC and Samsung announced Mini versions of their flagship devices, the specifications on the handsets we cut down from the original device.
It would appear that Sony may take a different route, and the Xperia Z1 Mini is rumored to keep the 20 megapixel camera that the Xperia Z1 will have and also keep the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor.
Of course this is just a rumor at the moment, and we will have to wait until next month to find out if Sony will launch two versions of their Xperia Z1 handset.
