Rabbit Robots has created a new educational robot kit named the Walrus v1.0 designed to provide an easy to assemble and use Arduino compatible robot. The kit allows those interested to learn more about micro controllers, programming, robotics, interfacing and more. Once the demonstration video below to learn more about the robotics kit.
The Walrus v1.0 robot kit is now available to back via Kickstarter with early bird pages available from $40 offering a 20 percent discount off the recommended retail price. Its creators explain more about the design and inspiration. “This fun and friendly robot kit comes unassembled, so you can learn about building robots even without any previous experience with robotics or with coding! You will explore basic soldering, assemble robot parts & hardware, route wires, download Arduino programs, and modify/test robot programs.”
“Once you’ve gone through our robot programs & tutorials, the 100% Arduino-compatible controller on-board the Walrus v1.0 robot allows you to further create your own robot programs like a pro. Our extensive development has resulted with our kits being made from a High Durability Polymer Plastic, so our kits aren’t made from brittle acrylic like the other guys’. Throughout testing, our kits have withstood falls off of desks/tables, strolls down the stairs, and the repeated travels to school, work, and home.”
