Unveiled earlier this month during the CES 2015 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Wacom has wasted no time getting their new Wacom Cintiq Companion 2 next generation artist tablet to market.
This week the Wacom Cintiq Companion 2 has been spotted making its way through the FCC indicating that it shouldn’t be long before the artist tablet is available to purchase via retails stores and online.
During CES 2015 Wacom explained that their new Cintiq Companion 2 tablet will be available in a range of five different models. Providing users with a 13 inch widescreen HD display together with a Wacom Pro Pen offering 2048 pressure sensitivity levels, tilt recognition and ultra fine precision.
“Ergonomically designed for professional artists and designers (left-handed or right-handed, doesn’t matter!). Work comfortably with the Pro Pen in hand, using conveniently placed ExpressKeys , a soft-grip tablet back and 4-position adjustable stand to easily work wherever, whenever.”
Specification options will enable users to choose between 64 to 512 GB of internal storage via a solid state drive (SSD) and the tablets will be supplied running Microsoft’s Windows 8.1 or Windows 8.1 Pro operating system. Unfortunately no information on pricing or worldwide availability has been released as yet by Wacom, but as soon as information comes to light we will keep you updated as always.
