If you are in the market of a new pocket pico projector, you might be interested in the new Vivitek Qumi Q7 HD LED pocket projector which has been unveiled by Vivitek at CES 2013 which is running this week from January 8th -11th.
The Vivitek Qumi Q7 HD LED projector is equipped with an LED light source that is capable of providing up to 800 lumens of brightness and 30,000 hours of operation time, with a 720p/native WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution.

Other features of the Vivitek Qumi Q7 HD LED pocket projector include Integrated 2D-to-3D content conversion technology, with 3D-Ready (via DLP Link) and a DLP pico chipset from Texas Instruments. Tinh Ho, senior product manager at Vivitek explains:
“With the addition of the Qumi Q7, Vivitek continues its goal of bringing portable and energy-efficient projectors to the market. We want to bring a complete line of projector models to fit just about any need and application,” -“Hours of operation, brightness and picture quality are key factors for consumers, and the Q7 incorporates LED and other technologies and features, such as 2D-to-3D conversion, into the Qumi line to ensure that this family of projectors is versatile enough to meet consumer demand.”
The new Vivitek Qumi Q7 HD LED also has 2 x HDMI, VGA-In, Composite Video, Audio-In RCA and USB with 4GB of on-board memory, and will be arriving in stores this summer for $1,000 and measures just 6.3″(w) x 4.3″(h) x 1.3″(d) and weighs 3.1 lbs.
