Yesterday the unlocked version of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 received a software update. Now Verizon Wireless has released an update for the Note 8 on their network. The software update for the Note 8 on Verizon is a small one and it comes with a range of security updates.
The Note 8 software update on Verizon comes with the software version NMF26X.N950USQU2BQJ, as well as the security improvements there are also some updates for the camera. You can see some details on the camera features below.

The update comes with a couple of new features on the camera and it also comes with Google’s Android security patch for the month of October. This fixes a major vulnerability with WiFi called the Krack exploit that we heard about previously.
