The unlocked version of Apple’s iPhone X is now available from the Apple store online in the US. The handset had only been available previously online with one of the four major carriers, AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon and Sprint.
You can now buy the unlocked version of the iPhone X on Apple’s website and the handset supports both CDMA and GSM networks, which means it will work with all four of the mobile carriers.
When the iPhone went on sale on Apple’s website back in November you could only buy it with one of the mobile carriers, although you could pay full price for the handset with some of the carriers.
As a reminder the new iPhone X comes with a 5.8 inch Super Retina HD display that has a a resolution of 2436 x 1125 pixels. The handset is powered by the Apple A11 Bionic processor and it comes with 3GB of RAM and choice of 64GB and 256GB of storage.
The device comes wit Face ID and Apple’s new front facing TrueDepth camera which has a 7 megapixel sensor. On the back of the handset there is a dual camera setup, each camera comes with 12 megapixels. One camera has a wide angle lens and the other a telephoto lens.
