Last week we heard that Sony Pictures had dropped Aaron Sorkin’s Steve Jobs movie, and there was a rumor that Universal may continue with the project.
Now according to a new report by the Holywood Reporter, Universal has taken over the movie for a price of around $30 million, the movie is based on Walter Isaacon’s biography of the late Steve Jobs.
The script of the new Steve Jobs movie has been written by Aaron Sorkin, and Michael Fassbender may play Steve Jobs, Christian Bale had previously signed up to the movie, but withdrew as he didn’t think he could do the role justice.
Seth Rogan is expected to play Steve Wozniak in the movie, which will be split into three main scenes, each of the scenes will be shot behind the scenes at the launch of Apple products.
