Casio has today teased a couple of new G-Shock watch concepts it has been developing ready to be officially launched at this years upcoming BaselWorld starting tomorrow and running until April 3rd 2014.
The new Casio G-Shock watches take the form of the Casio Edifice EQB-500 which has been designed to connect to your smartphone using Bluetooth 4.0 technology and will be the first analogue watch to do so.
Although do not expect the Edifice EQB-500 to be a smartwatch as the Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity only enables users to be able to set alarms or change the time from the smartphone.
The second watch unveiled by Casio this week includes both GPS and Radio Wave technology and comes in the form of the Casio GPW-1000. The satellite connectivity makes sure that your watch is always adjusted to your world location and requires only one satellite connection to pinpoint its position.
Unfortunately Casio has not yet released any detailed information, shipping or pricing details for the two new watch concepts, but you can expect more details to be made available later this year during the BaselWorld event.
