Back in June 2010 AT&T’s network was hacked and over 114,000 users details from the iPad 3G, including their email addresses were taken from AT&T’s servers by security group Goatse.
The information was then passed onto Gawker by the hackers, and two members of the Goatse security group were subsequently arrested after an FBI investigation.
The two hackers, Daniel Spitler and Anrew Auernheimer have now both been charged, each with one count of fraud and one count of conspiracy to access a computer without authorization.
