Toshiba has added a new Ultrabook to its range, in the form of the Toshiba Satellite U845W. Which is fitted with an ultra-wide 21:9 aspect ratio display, providing users with an effective resolution of 1792 x 768 pixels.
The latest Toshiba Satellite U845W will be equipped with Intel’s latest Ivy Bridge processor, but no options to install discrete graphics will be available, which will basically remove the possibility of heavy gaming.
The Satellite U845W measures just 0.82 inches thick and weighs in at around 3.5 lbs, and will comes with options for either SSD or HHD storage, depending on your requirements.
Ports fitted to the Satellite U845W system include 3 x USB 3.0, 1 x HDMI port, 1 x Ethernet, and a memory card reader. But no USB 2.0 ports or VGA option are provided. On a fully charged battery the system is expected to run for around 7.5 hours, and everything is encased in a brushed aluminium chassis.
The Toshiba Satellite U845W will start shipping with Windows 7 later this month, and will be priced around $999 and up, depending on your storage options.
