The new Huawei P10 will be made official at Mobile World Congress next week and now we have another photo of the handset.
The latest photo of the Huawei P10 was posted on Twitter by Evan Blass and it gives us a good look at this new Huawei smartphone.
Display and Design
The handset is rumored to feature a 5.5 inch display with a Quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. This high resolution ensures that the display will be incredibly sharp, making it ideal for watching videos, playing games, and browsing the web. The design of the Huawei P10 appears to be sleek and modern, with a focus on minimalism and functionality. The photo shared by Evan Blass showcases a slim profile and what seems to be a metal unibody construction, which not only adds to the aesthetic appeal but also enhances the durability of the device.
Performance and Variants
Under the hood, the device is expected to come with a HiSilicon Kirin 965 processor. This powerful chipset is designed to handle intensive tasks with ease, providing a smooth and responsive user experience. The Kirin 965 is likely to be paired with a Mali-G71 MP8 GPU, which will ensure that the device can handle high-end graphics and gaming without any issues.
There are rumored to be two versions of the device, the P10 and P10 Plus. The P10 Plus is expected to be a slightly larger variant with enhanced features. Additionally, there are rumors of different configurations in terms of RAM and storage. One version is expected to come with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, while another more premium version might feature 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. This range of options will allow users to choose a model that best fits their needs, whether they require more memory for multitasking or additional storage for media and apps.
Camera Capabilities
As we can see from the photo above, the handset will come with dual Leica rear cameras. Leica is renowned for its high-quality camera lenses, and their inclusion in the Huawei P10 suggests that the device will offer exceptional photography capabilities. The dual-camera setup is expected to include a 12-megapixel RGB sensor and a 20-megapixel monochrome sensor, similar to the setup found in the Huawei P9. This combination allows for stunning photos with great detail and dynamic range, as well as impressive low-light performance.
The front-facing camera is also expected to be of high quality, making the Huawei P10 a great choice for selfie enthusiasts and those who frequently use video calling apps. The inclusion of advanced camera features such as optical image stabilization, laser autofocus, and 4K video recording will further enhance the photography experience.
Software and Additional Features
The Huawei P10 is expected to run on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box, with Huawei’s EMUI skin on top. EMUI offers a range of customization options and additional features that enhance the overall user experience. Some of these features include a redesigned notification panel, improved battery management, and enhanced security options.
In terms of connectivity, the Huawei P10 is likely to support the latest standards, including 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2, and NFC. The device is also expected to come with a USB Type-C port for fast charging and data transfer.
We will have more information on the new P10 and P10 Plus when they are made official next week. Stay tuned for updates as we get closer to the official announcement at Mobile World Congress.
