Here is another interesting design concept for today, this one is from designer Lin Tsui-Wei and it won one of the red dot awards for the best design concept of 2009, the Sleeping Coat.
The sleeping coat looks like a standard coat, although it is bright orange, it also features an integrated inflatable sleeping bag, and the lower part of the coat can also be detached to create a small mattress.
This would be a great idea for camping as it would mean you wouldn’t need to carry a sleeping bag around as you would be wearing it. Unfortunately it is just a concept at the moment.
