Shuhei Yoshida Sony worldwide studios boss has today announced that their new The Last of Us game has already sold 3.4 million copies since its launch on June 14th to 3rd July.
The Last of Us game has been able to keep its position as the number one game in the Uk charts for four weeks and Sony and the games developers Naughty Dog have hailed the game as a great success.
“These sales figures are a testament to the blockbuster quality of The Last of Us,” he said “The teams at Naughty Dog are true visionaries and their storytelling capabilities are second to none, this title is an undisputed demonstration of that.
“SCE continues to be committed to delivering unique gameplay experiences that redefine the interactive entertainment industry and The Last of Us is a perfect example.”
