The right hand drive version of the Tesla Model S is now available in the UK, the company delivered their first right hands cars to customers in the UK over the weekend.
Prices of the Model S in the UK start at £50,280 before incentives and rebates, and if you purchase an electric vehicle in the UK, the government will give you £5,000 towards the cost of vehicle.
This means that the Model S can be yours for around £45,000 in the UK, it is designed as a luxury saloon, so pricing is similar to other luxury saloons in the UK.
The Tesla Model S has become popular in the US, the vehicle will give you a range of up to 312 miles, one a single charge, and it doesn’t skimp on performance either, it has a 0 to 60 MPH time of just 3.9 seconds.
It will be interesting to see if the Tesla Model S becomes popular in the UK, it can bring savings of around £3,000 per year for people who travel around 15,000 miles a year.
