Tamron has this week introduced a new lens to its range which has been specifically designed to be used with Sony’s NEX range of cameras. The new Tamron 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 DI III VC lens is equipped with an E-Mount and a 62mm filter diameter and becomes the first to offer Sony NEX with a high-powered zoom capability.
There is already an Alpha lens version available, but the new Tamron lens is equipped with a “step-motor” which is designed to align 100% with the contrast AF system of the NEX.
