Subaru has announced that its new 2019 Forester will hit dealerships this fall and along with that announcement pricing for the various trims has been announced. For 2019 there will be Base, Premium, Sport, Limited, and Touring trim levels. The Sport trim is new for 2019.
All trims get standard CVT transmission, a 2.5L Boxer four making 182hp and 176 lb-ft of torque, and all-wheel drive. The Touring trim also gets standard DriverFocus tech that uses facial recognition to warn drivers when they are tired or distracted. All versions get 33 mpg highway and can tow 1,500 pounds.
Pricing including destination charge is $25,270 for the Base model. Premium starts at $27,670, Sport starts at $29,770, Limited starts at $31,770, and Touring starts at $35,270. All of those trims have options to drive the price up further except Touring which has everything available as standard.
