Roberts Space Industries the developer behind the hugely popular Star Citizen PC space game that has raised over $75,000,000 in funding since it original campaign started and is still in development at the current time.
RSI this week released a new patch in the form of Star Citizen 1.1 which brings with it some major changes to the game. That require players who’ve already installed the SC to uninstall it and delete any files that may be left behind after its removal.
Once all old Star Citizen files have been removed from your PC, you can then go about the process of installing a fresh Star Citizen install and the latest patch 1.1. With the addition of new ships in the form of the Gladius light fighter for the Arena Commander module and the Aegis Dynamics Retaliator that is now hangar ready. Both new ships are available to purchase from the games store and are priced at £231 for the Aegis and £75.60 for the Gladius

“There have been significant changes to this version of the game that will require reinstalling the entire game client. It will be required to uninstall the game and delete any files that remain afterwards before downloading the new patch.”
