Samsung has today announced that their wireless Samsung Multi Room Audio Systems now support the ability to use Spotify Connect to stream your favourite music to more than two speakers.
Samsung also explains that this is the very first time that the Spotify Connect service has been available on more than two speaker thanks to a ‘strategic’ partnership with Spotify.
Once enabled the new Samsung Multi Room Audio System allows users to control their Samsung speakers directly from the official Spotify application. Eric Jung, vice president of the visual display business at Samsung Electronics explains a little more :
“More than ever before, Samsung is giving consumers seamless ways to better integrate sound and music in their daily lives,”-“We are excited to bring Spotify’s premium streaming music service to our Wireless Audio Multiroom ecosystem. It gives our customers more options to connect to and customize their favorite music taking the listening experience to the next level.”
The Samsung Audio Multi Room system can be used both alone or wirelessly with other Samsung devices, including BluRay Players, Soundbars, TVs, Home Entertainment systems enabling users to create a comprehensive multi-room audio system.
The systems can be created by easy plug-and-play installation together with NFC functionality and then controlled using a downloadable application via your smartphone or tablet.
