Samsung are holding a press event tomorrow where they will announce their new Samsung Galaxy Tab S tablets, we have already seen various photos of these two new tablets, and also know the specifications on them.
We heard last week that Samsung will start selling the new Galaxy Tab S on Wednesday the 13th of June in the US, the device is also expected to launch in Europe at the same time.
Both of these new tablets with come with AMOLED display with a WQXGA resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels, and they will both feature an eight core 1.9GHz Samsung Exynos 5420 processor and 3GB of RAM.
There are two different display sizes for the Galaxy Tab S, one with a 10.5 inch display, the other with an 8.4 inch display, and apart from the difference in screen sizes, the rest of the specifications will remain the same on both tablets.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S will come with front and rear facing cameras, on the front there will be a 2.1 megapixel camera, on the back there will be an 8 megapixel camera.
Both tablets are expected to be thin and light, last week we saw some leaked product photos of the 10.5 inch model, which revealed that this new AMOLED tablet would measure just 6.6mm thick and it will weigh in at 465g.
These new Galaxy Tab S device will come with Android 4.4 Kit Kat, we will have more details on both devices when they are made official tomorrow, the only thing that we do not know about these tablets is how much they will retail for.
